MYSTIC TOUR IN WAQRAPUKARA IN CUSCO (2D/1N)

This is one of the most visited tours by mystical tourists and recommended by travel agencies for mystical ceremonies, payment to the Pachamama and other ceremonies for having an astronomical Inca construction. This archaeological complex of Waqrapukara is located in the district of Pomacanchi in the province of Acomayo which means in Spanish "Waqra" means "Horn" and "Pukara" which means "Fortress", then Waqrapukara means strength of the horn, it is located at (4,300 masl). Day 01: Cusco - Community of Pitumarca - Waqrapukara

After breakfast at your hotel.
Pick-up in our mobility at your hotel at 05:30 a.m.
Travel by car to the community of Pitumarca (Acomayo) for 3 hours.
In Pitumarca, I met the muleteers.
Walk from Pitumarca to Waqrapukara for 3 hours.
Arrival to a camping place in Waqrapukara.
Lunch at the camp
Rest and enjoy the landscape
Hot dinner for the cold.
Payment for the Pachamama in a cave at 07:00 p.m.
We will return to the camp for rest.

Day 02: Waqrapukara - Community of Pitumarca - Cusco

Breakfast at 07:00 a.m.
Guided visit to the Archaeological Complex of Waqrapukara.
Return of walk to Pitumarca.
Return by car Pitumarca to Cusco.
Lunch in the district of Sangrara.
We will continue the trip to Cusco.
Arrival to the city of Cusco.
End of the mystic tour.

Day 01: Cusco - Community of Pitumarca - Waqrapukara

To begin the mystic tour in Waqrapukara, we will pick you up at your hotel in our minivan, in the city of Cusco. Then, we will go to the south of Cusco on the paved road from Cusco to Sicuani, in the place called Chuquicahuana we will divert to the province of Acomayo to a place called "Pitumarca" for 3 hours. Here, we will start the trek to the Waqrapukara campsite for 3 hours, arrival at our camp for a rest. Then, we will have lunch, on the way we will pass through small lagoons. Later, we will prepare for the ceremony, after dinner to go to a cave or call the mouth of the Waqrapukara for the ceremony, payment to the earth with the help of an Andean shaman, return to sleep.

Day 02: Waqrapukara - Community of Pitumarca - Cusco

After sunrise with a shining sun, we will have delicious breakfast. Then, we will go on a guided tour of the Waqrapukara fortress, this is a mysterious construction, appreciate the main gate called "Inti Punku" or sun cover, sun and moon enclosure, Wiracocha enclosure, two turrets, main square, bleachers, alongside from the fortress we will see an andean system, also surrounded by beautiful marine rock formations of different shapes, end of the guided tour, return of walk to Pitumarca, here we will return by car to the city of Cusco. Lunch in the village Sangrara. Arrival to the city of Cusco at 05:00 p.m.
