The Perolniyoc Waterfall is a natural and cultural gem located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, near Ollantaytambo, in the community of Socma, at approximately 3,460 meters above sea level. This impressive waterfall, with a drop that varies between 30 and 100 meters according to various sources, offers a unique visual spectacle, forming a crystalline veil that shines with the sun’s rays.
The tour to the Perolniyoc Waterfall is a full-day experience that combines nature, history, and culture. The hike begins in the community of Socma and lasts approximately 1 to 1.5 hours to reach the base of the waterfall. From there, you can continue ascending for an additional 30 minutes to visit the archaeological site.
