Everything you need to know before booking

✅ Booking Confirmation

To confirm and secure your reservation, an initial payment of 50% of the total service cost is required. This deposit guarantees your spot on the tour. The remaining balance (50%) must be paid 1 day before the tour starts to avoid automatic loss of the reservation. This process allows us to coordinate logistics, guides, and suppliers in advance.

⏰ Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made within 48 hours prior to the tour for shared service, or 72 hours before for private service to obtain a 100% refund. If you cancel 1 day before the tour, 50% of the outstanding payment will be charged as an operational penalty. Last-minute cancellations or same-day cancellations will be considered NO SHOW and 100% of the total service amount will be charged without exception.

💸 Refund Policy

For advance cancellations we apply a progressive scale: with more than 45 days notice only a 5% administrative charge applies; between 30-44 days a 25% penalty is charged; between 15-29 days it increases to 50%; and with less than 14 days no refund is granted. Important: services not used during the trip, train or airline tickets already issued are non-refundable under any circumstances.

💲 Rates and Pricing

All published rates are expressed in US dollars (USD) and Peruvian soles (PEN), calculated per person based on double occupancy. Prices are net and include services, specialized guides, and entrance fees according to the itinerary. Rates are subject to variability without prior notice until full payment has been made and official availability confirmation has been received.

⚠️ Force Majeure Cases

Some services may be interrupted or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, flight problems, social conflicts, disturbances, or situations beyond the control of hotels, airlines, suppliers, or our agency. In these force majeure cases, no full refund will be granted since services were already booked in advance, however we offer a 50% discount to apply to your next booking as compensation.

🛡️ Limitation of Liability

X TRAVEL PERU acts as an intermediary agent and tour operator without control over external factors. We are not responsible for causes or situations beyond our operation that are out of our reach, such as passenger illness, pregnancy status, intoxication, natural phenomena, social unrest, political situations, nor for accidents, losses, or delays caused by independent third parties. We also do not refund services when the passenger leaves the group by their own decision.
